Let me say this again, I'm the worst blogger ever ;)

Sorry for failing miserably in the blogging world. I don't even remember the last time I posted! ahh.
Okay, I just checked. It was November. BAD.

Since then, I have lost about 1/4 of a pound. Haha. I got rid of my kidney! On Dec. 16th Amanda and I arrived at the Cleveland Clinic early as all hell to start the organ swap out party. In the PACU I was offering my liver to people, so I was doing well. By evening I was in my room (on the VIP floor, holla) pumping away the pain meds. It SUCKED. I tried to get out of bed that night and it didn't happen. Sleep was terrible, but I got through it! Amanda and I got to see each other the second day. It was nice to see my kidneys new home doing so well so quickly! Leaving the hospital sucked, I liked all the care, and the VIP floor was sooo quiet and nice. The bed sucked though, hospital beds suck!

We had a great Christmas, New Years, etc. I started back at school 4 weeks post donation. (Yeah, that was stupid.) I had a rough time this semester, classes were either super boring or super hard! I think I'm finishing with about an 89% average. EH! Whatever. One bad semester never hurt anyone! Plus, C's get degrees!!!!

The twins are turning 5 in a few months. Holy crap! They're about to finish their first year of school. I can hardly believe that. They were just born like 3 weeks ago. I swear.

We took an amazing vacation to Longboat Key, Florida in March. It was such a nice break. We seriously seriously considered moving down there, I even enrolled in a school and started talking to realtors. But we weighed our options and after a lot of thinking we decided to stay here til I graduate. We will move south in a few years, I can promise that! We love it in the south. It is just happier, there is way more sun. WAY. More. Sun. We love the ocean, we love the heat. We love the people. Up here we love our friends and family. And the 3 days of summer. ;) As for now, with Dan not working and being involved in church stuff and groups, we decided it wasn't a time to pull him away from all that good stuff. I love what I do with the church too when I can.

As for totally current events.... IT'S FINALS WEEK! Woohoooooo! I survived, and I get an entire 5 weeks off after this!!!!!! (Then comes 5 weeks, 5 days a week, 4 (I think?) Hours a day MICRO. At least the teacher is the most kick ass teacher I have ever come across!)
So I am super happy about the 5 weeks off. I get to hang out with the fam, and tackle a painting project in the living room. I will post pics of that as it happens!!!

I heard it's supposed to warm up Thursday so I hope y'all get to enjoy it :)
